Get a customer count in PPP

Before you begin exporting your customer data, it is a good idea to confirm the number of customers in your PAYD Pro Plus database. This will help you later to confirm that all of your customers were exported, and later imported, successfully. Follow the instructions below to get a count of the number of records you export.

On a PC or laptop, log in to PAYD Administration.
On the main menu, click Profiles.
Under the Customers option, click Search.
On the Customer search results screen, look at the bottom of the screen under the navigation buttons to see the number of customers found.

Export customer data for Moneris Go Retail

To export your PAYD Pro Plus customer data so that it can be imported into Moneris Go Retail, follow the instructions below.

Note: Do not export while your business is open; perform this task outside of regular business hours.

On a PC or laptop, log in to PAYD Administration.
Click the Migration menu option at the top of the screen.
In the Migration screen, under the Moneris Go Retail section, click the Customer export button. A confirmation popup appears.
Click OK on the popup. The export begins.
When the export completes, you’ll see a notification at the top of the screen (“Migration completed. The file is ready for download.”).
Click the Download link.
PAYD Pro Plus downloads a file called Clients_PPP_to_MGR.csv to your computer’s Downloads folder. Once the file has been downloaded, it is ready to be imported into Moneris Go Retail.

A note about the exported data

Once the data has been exported from PAYD Pro Plus into the CSV files, Moneris advises that you should not edit the CSV files to make changes to their contents/structures. Changes could prevent the exported data from being successfully imported.
